C.H. Spurgeon was one of the most influential and charismatic men of God in the Victorian era. Based on the CTA drama documentary C.H. Spurgeon – The People's Preacher, this small-group resource introduces us to his life and career and shows how his example can teach and inspire us today.
This 90-minute DVD includes the drama documentary in its entirety, divided into four 20-minute* sessions. The original DVD won Best Documentary at the Sabaoth Film Festival in Milan in 2011.
Rev Dr Peter Morden introduces and closes each session, adding biographical details to the film as he takes us to sites related to Spurgeon's life and career.
Session titles: •New Beginnings
•Tragedy and Triumph
•Ministry and Mission
•Suffering and Glory
